Monitor Mount for Baby (5/8") Spigot is rated 4.6 out of 5 by 45.
Rated 5 out of 5 by from Amazing solution from Matthews I've used this item with a variety of VESA compliant monitors over the last 7 years, EIZO, NEC, ASUS, Panasonic, Etc. Ditch your heavy monitor base and throw your screen on one of these, mount it just about anywhere with a baby pin. I own 2 and would happily buy more if I had screens that needed them. I regularly use this in conjunction with a cardelinni & mathelinni clamps (sp?) as well as a wall mounted pidgeon plate in my office, or on a stand alone rolling stand if i need a monitor with wheels. Matthews quality, accept no substitutions. Hardware and mounting screws are rock solid.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from If you like good things... I know. It costs a lot. But it does exactly what I want it to do. For years my beautiful 17 inch Panasonic Broadcast Monitor would be strategically placed on a chair or nearby table in the vicinity of my camera. But now I am free to place it right next to my tripod on set, at the angle and height of my choosing. So cool. So useful. And about time. I am sure there are cheaper ways to mount a monitor with a VESA mount on a C-stand, but I doubt there is a more elegant or functional solution. It will adjust to the postion and angle you desire and lock solid in that position until you want to re-adjust. You want the best? You get the best with this product. A standard caution here is that you will need sand bags or other weight on the base of your stand to make sure your expensive monitor doesn't topple from the misstep of an inexperienced grip or clumsy actor.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Great Product Works great and gets small enough to leave it on the monitor during transportation.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Great, versatile mount I use this to mount a 24 Asus computer monitor onto a Mattews wheeled stand monitor to use as a large monitor for video work. It's easy to get it into the right position and once everything is tightened down, it's very stable. The only problem I have with it is that there's no rotate function that would allow the monitor to rotate from portrait to landscape mode. I need this because my floors aren't level and when the monitor is on the wheeled stand, it's a little bit tilted relative to the horizontal.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great construction, pairs well w VESA rotating mount The Matthews Monitor Mount is built very well, folds flush against the monitor for travel (many VESA mounts don't), and is versatile. I'm using this on an NEC PA272W 27 display for client monitor use on still shoots. I use this on an Avenger Rolling Stand 12 with a pumpkin/set weight on the bottom for stability. The mount is fantastic. The drawback of most VESA mounts, including this one, though, is that one loses the ability to quickly rotate it between landscape and portrait, as the original monitor stand permits. One thing I've found that makes it even better is a rotating VESA mount from Maclocks. It sandwiches in between this Matthews mount and the monitor, and permits 90 degree easy rotation. While not a factor on video jobs, it's frequently convenient to have the monitor in portrait orientation for still photo shoots. The Maclocks plate lets you simply turn the monitor, without re-mounting the plate, and only adds about 3/4 thickness. The Matthews mount has a ton of flexibility in terms of tilt, pan, and extension amount. The two different orientation baby pin holes will surely be used some time as well. Glad I picked up this mount! Very happy with it (and the Maclocks part).

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Works perfectly Screw this mount onto the back of your monitor with the included screws, loosen the controls, mount atop a C-Stand or light stand, position the monitor and then tighten the controls. Easy and reliable. It folds down flat enough to just leave it on your monitor and put away in a Pelican case (assuming your monitor is small enough for that). I bought one of these mounts to try it out...three days later I bought three more.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Sturdy and well designed I've mounted this VESA bracket on my Panasonic 17 (LH 1710) production monitor. Its heavy duty and constructed well in the Matthews Grip tradition. This allows me to put my monitor on any moderate duty 5/8 stand. I like the low profile when its in the storage position so that I don't have to remove the bracket for placement of the monitor back in its travel case. The only drawback is the price.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Ultimate Monitor Mount I recently acquired a gently used 32 LED HD TV screen for free of charge. It sat in my closet unused for a few months and my wife suggested getting rid of it, but then I realized I could be using it on shoots with some friends (dslr camera-ops) who do not own a monitor. The only hurdle was figuring how to mount it to a C-stand. I stumbled across the MSE Monitor Mount. I also had to buy the MSE 200 VESA adapter for my particular monitor. The only thing I had to do was re-drill the four outer mount holes on the VESA 200 adapter plate to accommodate the larger bolts that once secured a Peerless wall mount. Other than that, easy and solid installation. The Matthews adapter is heavy duty. Solid as a rock. Overkill. I'll never have to worry about my 12 pound monitor ever falling off of this. I'm a longtime devoted fan of Matthews products. Worth every penney. The only reason I gave this product a 5 star rating is because I couldn't give it 10 stars. Great purchase.
