question

I want to buy this so I can connect my MXO2 mini to my laptop. However, my new Asus ROG doesn't have a slot for this. What is the workaround? Are there any Expresscard to USB 3.0 adapters for this? Thanks!

Asked by: clyde

Hi Clyde. There are no 3rd party adapters that can be used to connect MXO2 hardware to computer systems. The supported connection types are:1. Matrox PCIe card for PC/MAC systems with an available PCI-e slot2. Matrox Express/34 adapter for PC/MAC laptops with an available Express/34 or Express/54 slot3. Matrox T/ADP Thunderbolt adapter for any PC/MAC system with a Thunderbolt port. For driver support, see this link: http://forum.matrox.com/mxo/viewtopic.php?t=14381For any presales inquiries, please use the Contact Me form: http://www.matrox.com/video/en/contact/contact/
