The VP-437 ProScale Analog & HDMI Presentation Scaler/Switcher from Comprehensive/Kramer features (7) inputs and can scale any composite, S-video (Y/C), component video (YUV), computer graphics video, or HDMI signal up or down to a selectable output resolution. It also converts the audio input to an S/PDIF output and embeds it onto the HDMI output.
This unit features K-Storm technology, Kramer's proprietary scaling technology with 3:2 and 2:2 pull down de-interlacing. This unit is HDTV compatible and HDCP-compliant, ensuring it properly displays copyright-protected media.
Other features include adjustable audio delay, audio-follows-video functionality for every input, aspect-ratio options, and front-panel lockout. The unit can be controlled via front-panel pushbuttons, Ethernet, IR remote control, on-screen display, or RS-232.
