PPF Flush Ceiling Projector Mount for Projectors Weighing Up to 50 lb (Silver) is rated 3.9 out of 5 by 7.
Rated 4 out of 5 by from GREAT SPACE SAVER IN THE CLASSROOM This very versatile projector mount fit my classroom projector with ease and allowed enough range of movement to line up the projected image perfectly with my screen. The movable arms seem as though they would accommodate virtually any projector. I took one star off because as I was tightening the screws connecting the mount to the projector the head of the screw snapped off - I had probably over-tightened it, but it still had me concerned enough that I went out and got my own screws.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Solid build & easy install It was easy to install this on my Acer projector and get everything mounted to my ceiling at the perfect angle. All parts are metal, which gives the product a solid feel to it as well as making me feel comfortable tightening up all of the connectors without fearing the thing would fall apart. With this mount my projector will only move when I want it to. I'll just have to make sure not to lose the special security allen wrenches that were included in-case I upgrade projectors :)

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Works Product is fairly straight forward, i had to find a mount that would work for my older projector. The versitility of this mount is good, but it doesn't do a great job holding a heavier projector still. Wish they would have used more screws securing the mount to the base than one.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from It just works Excellent product at a great price, a very simple way to attach a project to your roof. Good for anyone with even modest handyman skills. The only tools you need are a drill and screwdriver to mount this to a beam.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Satisfied I used this to hang an Optoma EzPro 735 projector given to me by a friend. I wanted something that would work with this projector and with the one I intend to buy sometime during the next year. It worked fine with the Optoma. The top part of the mount can be screwed to the ceiling without the rest of the mount attached. This was easy. My biggest challenge was attaching to the projector. There are instructions, but I opted not to read them until after putting things together incorrectly twice. I found the instructions clear enough to correct my previous mistakes. The mount came with a set of different sized screws for projectors requiring different sizes. All other necessary hardware, including appropriate wrenches are included. There is a little bit of play in the top joint. This was only an issue as I was adjusting the mount. Once adjustment was finished, the projector stays in place. (To be fair, there are screw holes for adding a plate to hold the joint secure -- but no plate is included).Adjustments were relatively straightforward, but looking at the higher-end Peerless mounts I think the geared adjustments would be significantly easier. Being as budget-minded as I am, I preferred to save a few bucks.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Ceiling Mount for large video projectors I bought this celing mount to hang an Epson 8350 projector under a wooden ceiling beam of my rustic country home. I had tried a somewhat less expensive mount but found it was too small to accomodate the mounting points on anything more than a tiny compact single chip DLP projector. The Epson is a three chip LCD projector which requires a lot more chassis space for its optics. There is sufficient extension and adjustability of the four robust spider legs such that you can easily find the center of gravity of the projector and hang it well balanced. One plus, the manufacturer offers separate extensions that you can buy individually if you find you need to lower the projector. My only issues were, one of the threads was poorly manufactured such that screws were too tight almost cross threading, the aiming and position locking is imprecise and a bit rough. And the top most section is held by only a single screw and yields a lot of wiggle even when fully tightened. It would have gotten five stars based upon having an excellent set of spiders for mating with a large projector. But it loses two stars for somewhat sloppy mechanical work, imprecise threads in the mounting brackets, and wobbly support between that section and the ceiling bracket along with fairly poor locking hardware for aiming.
