I'm using this to hold a turntable and it works well. It is well made and very sturdy. It is easy to adjust how wide apart the brackets are, the length of the brackets, and the level of the brackets. It holds a static load extremely well. A sudden change in dynamic loading will cause the bracket to flex or vibrate slightly. In use as a way to suspend my turntable to the wall this presents a slight difficulty. Even with an isolation platform one must be careful to lower the dust cover gently and not jar the edge of the turntable plinth or bump the end of the bracket. However, it works admirably and decouples the turntable from the floor of the room completely. In use to hold a video projector or other audio equipment it would be superlative on all counts,

Would I put 100 lbs. on it? Probably not. But if you have a heavy amp this probably isn't your first thought either. Does it have a simple design with leveling screws for each arm and does it easily hold my turntable, yes! Can I now jump up and down in my crazy old house and have rock solid needle contact, yes! Very happy, I've lived in a lot of old houses but never one this flexible. Shelf fixes all that and for cheap and leveled. Brilliant.
