Tiffen Lens Cleaner is the best way to keep all your filters clean and in tip-top shape. Gets rid of all the fingerprints, grime and smudges which always seem to accumulate on glass surfaces. Clean filters mean sharper images and more successful photographs.
From the label, the following are the contains, with Chemical Abstracts Service (CAS) numbers in parentheses: Water (7732-18-5), Denatured Alcohol (64-17-5),o Ammonia Hydroxide (1336-21-6), Sodium Lauryl Sulfate (73296-89-6)
From the research I did, I gathered that this cleaner used the same formula of the old discontinued Kodak Lens cleaning solution (which I liked). Although I have no way to know the chemical make up of either solution, the Tiffin product does not smell the same as the Kodak one. It also left streaks which the Kodak did not (I have a tiny bit left of the Kodak solution to compare it with).
