    Sachtler S2362-1900 reviews

SKO11E0255 1/4"-20 Captive Tie-Down Screw for Fluid Heads is rated 4.4 out of 5 by 17.
Rated 4 out of 5 by from I thought I'd never find it I needed this screw to add a second one to secure a heavy video matte kit to a 100 mm Sachtler tripod head. It came as a surprise when I found it here. The shaft is a bit shorter than I thought, the head is a bit thicker than it would fit, but I still managed with a little grinding. This screw is made of steel, not aluminum, thus we can have more trust in it.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from It's an expensive little screw It's an overpriced, proprietary screw. I keep several of these on hand because when you don't have one, then it's the most important screw in the world. Sachtler realizes this and, unless it's made out of adamantium, they must have a ridiculously large profit margin on these things. I have never had one fail on me though.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Screws fall out all the time If you shoot video or film you know how important your tripod is to have in working order at all times. Missing the plate or the screw that attaches the camera to the tripod in the field can be the straw that breaks the productions back. So, I make sure I have 2 or 3 of these on hand at all time.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Perfect Fit This is the perfect 1/4 - 20 for attaching smaller format cameras to Sachtler Ace and similar tripods with quick release heads. AVOID THE IMITATIONS! They are almost all too short to fit the Sachtler plate. This one is THE one.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Expensive little piece of metal I bought this screw for a sachtler head I had laying around and it turned out not to be long enough for that particular plate. I got lucky and had a different head with a different type of plate that it worked for.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Glad they sell spares, but... I'm really glad that Sachtler sells spare screws for their tripod plates because I can't tell you how many I've misplaced over the years. But, they're not cheap, that's for sure.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Fine Replacement-Missing Glidecam Screw I used this to replace the screw that attaches my camera to my glidecam 4000. Works great, and easy to tighten (I can use my apartment key if I don't have a screwdriver handy).

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Decided to buy a spare set I have come close to loosing this screw and tripod plate so I decided to buy a spare. It's one of the few spare Sachtler parts reasonably priced.
