Would it work with a Steadicam from came-tv? Also, what stand would you recommend for it? Thank you
I use the Glidecam 4000 but I believe the came-tv steady cam should work with this bracket. In addition I use this stand (Impact Turtle Base C-Stand - 10.75' (Chrome) on B&H. Solid stand. Holds my Glidecam and my panasonic AC130 no problem.

This came with no manual. I cannot find any documentation online. SOME of it is self explanatory but some is not so I'd really like to know what I am missing out on. Why no manual, I have no idea. For the price you'd think they gave you a piece of paper. Anyhow, can anyone please tell me the use of the side that does NOT hold the handle? Also, what does the metal middle part accomplish?
The pole side used to balance. The other side is to dock your Glidecam. The two hooks go under the bearings were the arm pivots. The Middle part part is used to hang your Glidecam vest with a standard coat hanger.

Last Glidecam I thought Devin used was a Glidecam HD4000. I have both this bracket and the Glidecam HD4000 and it fits. Hope this helps.
