The POD Farm Platinum from Line 6 provides access to all the guitar amplifier modeling technology previously only available from the company's hardware POS products. A full complement of guitar amplifiers can be matched with various cabinet models and effects pedals, all available from a rotating carousel like interface.
Amplification chains are assembled by simply clicking and dragging a particular model into the signal flow area, allowing for endless experimentation to find just the right tone. The other feature of the POD Farm Platinum is Dual Tone, where the original signal can be split into 2 separate signals, with each being processed by a completely different stack and effects.
Available for recording software that functions on both Mac and Windows based machines, the plug-in can be used as an Audio Units, RTAS or VST plug-in under Mac OS X, and as an RTAS and VST plug-in under Windows XP and Vista. An iLok key is required if one is not already present on the system.
