The 1:8 Component Audio & Video CAT5 Distribution Amplifier from Gefen is the transmitter in a distribution system that allows you to extend & duplicate component video & audio signals by transporting them over CAT-5 Ethernet cable. It can be used to achieve transmission distances of up to 1000' without loss of signal quality. Please note that this unit is a transmitter only and a separately available receiver unit is required for each output configured with this system.
Audio support includes analog left-right, SPDIF, or TOSlink. This system offers plug & play installation. Resolutions up to 1080p are supported. Equalizations for different CAT-5 skews are available.
