Vortex 6x40 Crossfire Riflescope (Matte Black)
Key Features
  • 1.0" Tube
  • Waterproof
  • Fogproof
  • V-Plex Reticle
Vortex is dedicated to the development and production of unique optics with features that allow you to see the world more clearly.

Fixed power scopes always command attention - they deliver great value in the face of a world of bells and whistles. Every hunter seeking quality versus quantity should consider the Crossfire 6x40. This sighting solution delivers a bright sight picture, comfortable field of view, and enough magnification to make short work of long-distance shots.

Configured with a 1.0" tube and a V-Plex reticle - this Crossfire scope also features water, fog, and shock proof construction, and fully multicoated optics. Regardless of the weather or the lighting conditions, your sight picture will be as bright and crisp as possible.

A mounting base and rings are used to attach a riflescope to a firearm. A comfortable sight picture is contingent upon the height of the rings. A comfortable cheek-weld is the result of properly positioning the scope over the receiver. Mounting the scope close to the receiver is preferable, yet scopes with larger objectives need higher rings so the front bell can clear the barrel. It should be noted that in many mounting applications, a professional gunsmith's skills will be needed for proper installation.
