    Olympus 202316 reviews

Adjustable Wrist Strap Water Ready is rated 4.1 out of 5 by 17.
Rated 5 out of 5 by from Best for Small Cameras I use these with my small cameras such as the NEX-5N, DP1X etc. I trim the blue plastic off to reveal a nice cord which is thicker than the other Olympus wrist strap but is cheaper! ;-) Having the cinch is critical to making sure it doesn't slide off your wrist if you mishandle your camera.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Not good I bought this to use with the Olympus TG-5 and a soft case. Why I don't like it? 1)- The blue plastic around the strap does not fold well. Storing the camera and the strap in a soft case is not practical, as a result part of the strap is always sticking out. 2)- The plastic around the strap does not allow you to tie it tight, unless your wrist diameter is at least 9 inches. 3)- Misleading item name. It says "Olympus ...", which can be interpreted that was made by Olympus for a Olympus camera, but in fact there are no marks saying that was made by Olympus, which probably was not. It is a strap made by an unknown company that fits any camera, including an Olympus. 4)- I used it for a few days and the material is already looking bad.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Better without the blue plastic The blue plastic could be more flexible, softer. I guess judging from the photo on the website, I thought it wouldn't be as plastic for lack of a better word. I ended up cutting it off, I just need the adjustable simple black string, which now fits my fairly small wrist much better.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Awesome strap for the money. Ordered it to use with Canon G1X. I need something small, strong, and not in the way when not in use. It is everything I expect it to be, but the only thing keep me from giving it 5 stars is because I can pull the strap apart by the lock and it will opens up the lock. Since this requires some force, I don't see it will opens up by itself and will keep it. I have no problem leaving te plastic cover on. This should help not letting the stap dig into my hand when carry for a long period of time.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Does the job, but I bought this strap because the one that comes with the Olympus Tough TG1 is made of canvas and once wet it takes ages to dry. This one looks slightly more suitable for a tough camera, although inside the plastic tube there seems to be a a canvas rope which would still get wet when immersed in water. I don't know why they can't come up with something of pure flexible plastic which really dry up immediately.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from nice price, nice strap I purchased it for the price to use on an old Minolta Maxxum 5 film camera. This seems to work for small mirrorless or small SLR film cameras as well, as long as you use a small, lightweight lens. Good also for waterproof cameras. I just wish the cord that attaches to the camera were stronger for the less light weight cameras, but for a few cents more than the price of a regular slice in NYC, if this lasts a year or 2 I will be happy. on P&S cameras it may outlive the camera itself.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from OLAWRSBLLE WATER-READY STRAP (BLUE) Overall the strap fits my needs. It is durable and comfortable to wear. However I wish the blue rubber piece was not so large since it limits tightening the strap snug to wrist.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from FOUND! Adjustable camera wrist strap It shouldn't be nearly impossible in The United States of America to find something so simple as an adjustable camera wrist strap. (Seems everyone who normally would have them had stock issues, and that wasn't very many merchants.) It's also a bit boggling to try to imagine why any other kind (i.e., non-adjustable) is made, much less sold to people. That said, I did finally find an adjustable strap on line at B&H. That's some of the good news. Some of the bad news is that it cost nearly as much to have the item mailed as it did to buy it. The rest of the good news is that now I won't have to worry about my non-adjustable wrist strap slipping unhindered off my wrist, resulting in a damaged or lost camera. The rest of the bad news (bad being a really relative term in this case) is that I didn't need the plastic cover that came on my wrist strap, because my camera is an above-the-water-line machine, and I don't intend to take it scuba or skin diving. But it was no big deal cutting it off. All said, I got what I wanted...after paying a bit too much to get it here.
