Kentmere 6009070 reviews

Select Variable Contrast Resin Coated Paper (8 x 10", Glossy, 250 Sheets) is rated 5.0 out of 5 by 2.
Rated 5 out of 5 by from Kentmere VC RC exceeded my expectations I was very pleasantly surprised by the performance of this paper, which I recently used for the first time. It was very responsive to density control through extending the development time, allowing me to salvage prints which needed more detail in the highlights. That was an issue because I was making contact prints from contrasty 8x10 nitrate negatives produced from the 1920s to the 1950s, some of which were very dense (requiring nearly 2 minutes of exposure at f5.6 using Polycontrast 0 filter), while others needed as little as 5 seconds at f8 with a 3 1/2 filter. Across these extremes, the Kentmere gave fine results. It also responded very beautifully to selenium toning, using 1:9 to concentration and dried flat on screens without water marks.
