Kentmere Bromide FB B & W Photo Paper is a double-weight, single-contrast, grade fine art quality paper with high silver content. Yielding traditional qualities of fiber based papers, Kenmere Bromide FB delivers rich neutral blacks, a brilliant base white and outstanding tonal rendition. It is available only with a glossy unglazed surface, this paper is very responsive to toning processes, including Selenium.
The light-sensitive silver halide emulsion layer has a silver content of approximately 1.7 gsm. This is covered with a gelatine supercoat which protects the emulsion from stress fogging and physical damage and also contains a small amount of developing agent.
