The Lowel Caselite 4 offers cool, soft, and efficient light at several times the output of incandescent halogen sources. It is a self-contained compact, lightweight, rugged four fluorescent tube lighting unit. Each 55 watt, 3000K tube may be individually switched. This method of "dimming" is better than dimming with a rheostat, because there is no color shift due to reducing the voltage to the tubes.
The Caselite is named as such because it becomes its own case. This kit includes the case lid, offset mounting plate, barndoor set, eggcrate, Gel Jawz, light stand, and four 3000K fluorescent tubes.
