What I needed, boom of medium quality medium weight, medium strength, medium length, at medium price. Supports one standard dynamic mic or small diaphragm condenser without trouble.

It should be a useful device, but it isn't quite sturdy enough to hold a moderately heavy microphone without sinking. For a very light microphone, it would be great.
