Behind the natural cherry exterior which incorporates a recessed speaker, is a shelved interior which houses a 50 watt amplifier with bass, treble and reverb controls complete with audio and musical instrument input jacks. Combined with the included wireless mic on a gooseneck the system is powerful enough to address an audience of 2000.
Mobility is an outstanding feature of this lectern. The sound system is powered by a rechargeable battery, eliminating the need to hunt for an outlet whenever the lectern is moved on its recessed casters.
Finally, rather that fumble with the gooseneck to accommodate the height of the speaker the lectern itself is capable of a smooth pneumatic 10" height adjustment via a simple handle hidden in the podium.
