My Profoto B1 feel and crashed on to the cement, the glass plate broke, but the light continues to fire and work with any problems! I bought this glass just for replacement reasons. I am amazed at Profotos quality. I feel any other brand would have been permanent toast from a fall like that.

Is this glass suitable for the Profoto B10? It is not mentioned in the description.
Asked by: Koos
As per Profoto, the front glass on the B10 is only replaceable through their repair center, so this plate will not be compatible.

I want to be prepared to replace my B10 glass ...

I want to be prepared to replace my B10 glass when the time comes. However it has 4 little brackets that hold the glass in. It looks tough to remove. Has anyone tried with the B10? Is there instructions somewhere.
Asked by: Christian
The glass plate is significantly thicker than the one that comes with the B10 plus. Also, the brackets are fixed, not movable at all like other Profoto lights. I've emailed Profoto directly as I suspect you need a special glass plate to replace it. Bummer...
