    Bower SFD680 reviews

SFD680 Power Zoom Digital TTL Flash for Nikon Cameras is rated 3.9 out of 5 by 27.
Rated 5 out of 5 by from Efficience and Low Price Product! Professional Photographer use. I am very surprised in my first contact with this ttl power zoom flash! Battery economy: Covering a 5 hours party, taking about 400 pictures, with rebate lightening, using rechargeable battery, but not recharged during all the event. Finally, it is easy to use, practical, and minimum weigh. But, unfortunately, It can not be used as slave flash, and it was not clear in information. Now, I need to see, if it is a durable product. It is a good and low price product! I recommend it to my friends.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from For $$I thought I'd give it a try... Main problem is that it will ONLY operate in Nikon iTTL mode. There is no way to manually override any settings other than flash compensation by using the camera body or the slider on the back. Also, this is a large flash unit for the power output. I have essentially replaced it with a SB-700 which is much smaller than this unit. If you only want a flash to get better pictures of the family at Grandma's house over the holidays, this will work. But, if you ever plan on actually using the flash for any creative lighting you'd be better off saving your money.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great Flash, Great Price I was very impressed with the timeliness and quality of the products that I received from B&H. This flash is exactly what I was looking for to increase my ability to capture the images I wanted. The ability to rotate 360 degrees is wonderful!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Not a Nikon, but feels like it! The bower flash is a great option for a good and cheaper equipmente. It does the same work as the Nikon flash, but the price was lower. I am very happy with my choice.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Disappointing Difficult to use. Flash did not fire consistently and would not time correctly w/ the camera. I had a professional photographer friend look at it, but even he couldn't get it to work properly.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Very Decent ... A good move I didn't know how much I needed this until I had it. Massive improvement to indoor flash shots and cool out doors too. Price point is about right for this flash, it talks well with the Nikon (d40), and is quick to recharge. The plastic bit that slides into the hotshoe seems weak... pretty sure that will be the thing to break first. Nice flash though, and again, decent for the money.
