The Bosch DiBos 19" Digital Video Recorder - Version 8 (30 Channels) is a hybrid analog/IP MPEG-4 video surveillance recording device. The unit allows a quick search for sensitive images and fast transmission of data to remote locations.

The DVR (Digital Video Recorder) has a 250GB HDD (Hard Disk Drive) and supports up to 32 IP devices. Depending on monitoring requirements, the DVR offers choice of CIF/2CIF/4CIF resolutions. Through an internal network or a web browser, users can access the DVR as well as view the stored videos. Efficient tamper detection ensures system security. The DVR uses Biphase or Bilinx to control cameras and AutoDomes. A DVD writer allows copying data to removable media. The DVR seamlessly interfaces with Bosch alarm panels. With a 19" form factor and rack ears, this unit can be conveniently rackmounted.

Suitable for both private and public networks, the DVR can be used with video surveillance installations in offices, banks, industrial facilities, large departmental stores, city centers, railway stations, and airports.

Storage Capacity
The DVR has a 250GB HDD for storing video footage from the surveillance cameras. Approximately 8GB is utilized by the operating system and the video software that is used by the DVR

Camera and Viewing Control
The DVR allows cameras and viewing modes to be selected and even programmed manually. The PTZ (pan, tilt, and zoom) functionality of each individual camera can be controlled locally or remotely
PTZ Control
The Bilinx interface uses the video coax cable to control the pan/tilt/zoom functionality and also to properly configure the camera. Up to 30 AutoDome cameras can be controlled by the Bilinx interface. The Biphase interface allows control of 16 AutoDome units

The image in the DVR is displayed with details such as the date and time, location, camera name, and the status of detectors and sensors that are connected to the DVR
Navigation and Search
A tree structure simplifies navigation, search, and video playback. Powerful image search functions eliminate the need for manual search. Video can be efficiently searched for based on image changes, camera number, and recording date and time
Security and Alarms
DVR Access
Access to the DVR can be restricted with specific user authorization. The system administrator assigns profiles and events such as login, logoff, status changes, image transmission, and system shutdown are stored in a database
Video Authentication
Video authentication ensures that the DVR images are not altered or manipulated in any way
Alarms and Event Response
