    Behringer DR600 reviews

DR600 Digital Reverb Stompbox Pedal is rated 4.3 out of 5 by 4.
Rated 5 out of 5 by from DR600 Reverb Pedal review I rate this pedal 5 stars on a cost/performance basis. I use the DR600 in my personal recording studio, and for guitar practice. It's quite versatile and reasonably quiet. It should be ordered with the power supply, as the most common complaint is excessive battery drain, which is common in reverb pedals of this type.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Pretty good Reverb for less money. This is basically a Boss RV-5 Reverb pedal copied by Behringer. They are known for releasing copies of brand name manufacturers for less money. It is exactly the same pedal as Boss, same layout, except: 1. The effect volume (like on Boss RV-5) is labeled volume. That is actually incorrect, it should be labeled as mixer, or at least effect level. It does not change the overall volume of the reverb, it just manages the wet/dry mix; 2. The mod knob on Boss has Hall and Room Reverb types next to each other, and on this pedal they are apart. Other than that, it's exactly like Boss. The sound is very good, no noise when the pedal is engaged and I don't hear tone loss when it's bypassed. Yes, it's made out of plastic, but if you don't abused, it should be just fine. The battery cover is flimsy, I just don't recommend opening it at all. Use a power adapter (or daisy chain cables), it's better, plus on reverbs (or at least on this one) typically the batteries don't last long anyhow. Overall, I like this pedal. For the price, you can't go wrong. Way cheaper than RV-5, great addition to your reverb pedal collection. If not as a main pedal, then as a backup for sure. All the types of reverbs you'll need for most styles of music: Spring, Plate, Hall, Gate, Room, and Modulate. I like Spring and Hall the best. On minimal settings (I play Jazz, so I just add a little reverb for ambience/warmth) they sound very good. The Modulate mod is basically a reverb/chorus combination. A lot of guitarists like that as well. Now, I've only had mine for a few weeks, so I can't testify to the reliability issue yet. Hopefully, it'll last long. But I have two other Behringer pedals I bought a couple years ago, and they still work just fine. I hope this helps.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Lots of reverb, but little depth Wanted to try this clone of the Boss RV-5 and B&H's price can't be beat. Stereo IN & OUT is appreciated. I was looking for some deep and long reverbs and what I found here just didn't do it-even with the LEVEL and TIME controls cranked. This pedal is useful for shorter reverbs. I've found the tone a little cold, but there is the ability to warm things up with TONE knob.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Pretty Good works well, especially like the different kinds of reverb. the only thing is i feel like the effect doesn't sound present enough but you cant beat it for the price
