The Wireless Internet Radio works with any wireless connection (802.11b and 802.11g) and doesn't even require you to own a computer. The radio works entirely via your router's signal (with an operating range of up to 300') and support wireless security protocols WEP and WPA 1 and 2. Other convenient features of the GDI-IR1000 include connection to your stereo system via the audio out (headphone jack), a remote control, and the ability to set up to 5 alarms. Music files from you computer can be streamed via the radio and song and artist info is always displayed on the backlit LCD display.
