Further, macros can be used to activate an event or a sequence of events as per a pre-determined schedule or alarm. Macros can be used to automate VCR control, activate preset positions on (suitably equipped) cameras, activate system-wide sequences (tours), and activate external relays to control auxiliary functions such as locking doors (herein, additional equipment may be required).
The CM9760 208x8 Matrix Switcher also comes with built-in video loss detection and additional system diagnostic features. Its optional DVR/VCR management enables direct control over DVRs and VCRs using the system keyboards.
