Pelco CM9760 Overview

The Pelco CM9760 208x8 Terminating Matrix Switcher is a full-featured video matrix switching/control system that provides 208 video inputs and 8 video outputs (NTSC).

The CM9760 208x8 Matrix Switcher allows you to view and control up to 2048 cameras and 512 monitors on a single node. This can be further expanded in a multi-node setting. A maximum of up to 24 nodes can be attached. Furthermore, up to 96 individual user-defined ID numbers can be allowed or denied access to the system functions.

The base configuration of the CM9760 208x8 Matrix Switcher consists of a central processing unit (CC1), matrix switching bay(s) (MXBs) with video input/output modules, and keyboard controllers (KBDs). Further optional components can be attached to the system to increase the system capabilities.

The CM9760 208x8 Matrix Switcher is preconfigured before packaging; this makes installation easy, fast, and simple. The Windows-based management system allows for easy system programming and maintenance. Further, macros can be used to activate an event or a sequence of events as per a pre-determined schedule or alarm. Macros can be used to automate VCR control, activate preset positions on (suitably equipped) cameras, activate system-wide sequences (tours), and activate external relays to control auxiliary functions such as locking doors (herein, additional equipment may be required).

The CM9760 208x8 Matrix Switcher also comes with built-in video loss detection and additional system diagnostic features. Its optional DVR/VCR management enables direct control over DVRs and VCRs using the system keyboards. Certain compatible DVRs and VCRs can also be monitored to check for operational conditions, and consequently, ensure continuous recording.
