The broad, tough spikes are made from a hard-wearing anodized aluminum alloy, and will significantly increase stability on soft earth surfaces.  Each spike's surrounded by a retractable hard rubber foot, with tapered concentric circular rubber ridges that get smaller as they approach the ground surface.

The Manfrotto 116SPK3 Retractable Spiked Foot Set (3 Pieces) is an optional upgrade made to fit their "D16" tube, found upon the 190XB, 190XDB, 190XPROB, 190CX3, 190CXPRO3, & 055CXPRO4 tripods.

The broad, tough spikes are made from a hard-wearing anodized aluminum alloy, and will significantly increase stability on soft earth surfaces.  Each spike's surrounded by a retractable hard rubber foot, with tapered concentric circular rubber ridges that get smaller as they approach the ground surface.

These tripod feet can be removed and replaced at will, even in the field.

Great, must-have accessory for Manfrotto tripods

Bought this accessory for my new MT055CXPRO4 tripod. Have bought this leg accessory for all of my Manfrotto tripods (other the Befree units. Works well every time in the field; never regretted having them on the tripods.

I am up to my second set of these indispensable spikes, having worn down the points over 10 years of hard use on my Manfrotto 190CX3. My only criticism, which also applies to Manfrotto tripod hardware too, is the poor quality nuts and bolts that are prone to corrosion: I replaced these years ago with marine-grade stainless steel allen bolts and friction-lock nuts. TRIPODS AS CARRY-ON In view of current and ongoing airline security, it is best to *remove these feet* and store them in checked luggage before carrying the tripod as carry-on, as there exists the possibility of the tripod being declared and confiscated at Security. This is of course on the proviso your usual airline allows you to carry a tripod on board.

Your Tripod is in aluminum mine is in carbon, The tip of the pole is 5 / 8 in diameter, If your is 5/8 then it will fit.
