The Tokina TM55Z1038AIX2 Long Focal Length Motorized Zoom Lens is a 55x CCTV zoom lens with a TOK-2x extender and uses a video auto iris and motorized focus for correct exposures. Ideal for medium and long distance surveillance, the lens comes with a motorized zoom and is suitable for applications that require you to quickly focus on a person or object for better identification.
Compatible with fixed and detachable lens cameras, the TOK-2x extender, which is used to reduce the amount of light reaching the lens, fits between the camera body and lens and doubles the focal length, thereby increasing it from 10-550mm to 20-1000mm. When the extender is added to the lens, the horizontal wide angle view also changes from 34.57° to 17.67°.
At 500mm, most lenses would stop down at f/11 or f/22, while Tokina's 55x lenses only stop down at f/5.6. Equipped with a C-type lens mount, the lens has an aperture of f/3.8 (7.6) - 360 (720) and is compatible with a 1/2" image format. The minimum required object distance is 5m.
