Impact EMD reviews

EMD Lamp (750W, 120V) is rated 4.7 out of 5 by 68.
Rated 4 out of 5 by from Impact makes an impact! I use the EMD Lamp by Impact for my photoshoots at work. Being in the fashion industry, makeup and hair technicians need a lot of light without harsh brightness. This EMD Lamp is frosted and gives fabulous light where needed in our makeup/hair room. Usually with other lights, once the model's first shot is taken, I would need to enhance her additionally because color was off. However, with this lamp, the makeup artist color palette is seen vividly allowing a one time application. It does run a little hot but for my needs, I only need it to run a few hours. I highly recommend for professional use in Photography.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Disappointing I bought 2 as replacement lamps for my lowell tota lights, they both burned out, almost exploding within several hours of installing. I was very careful installing them not to tuch the bulb with bare hands. Don't know what went wrong but one even ruined my light as when it burned out it fused itself to the contact!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from This bulb never quits I bought my tota lights in 1993 and had been using hem with the same bulbs all these years. They never broke even though I used them very frequently, not just for my photography work but also as a work lights. Recently they got a lot darker and I finally bought new ones which are quite a bit brighter. These bulbs are great.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from My honest opinion So far so good! There were no real instructions on how to install the light into my lowel tota so I had to YouTube it. The light does get pretty hot and so be aware of that. I still don't know how to install the light screen that comes with it so it's sitting in the box. I'll try and find a YouTube video on that. Overall I love the brightness of the light. I will be using it for makeup and hair applications so I love how compact it is.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Simple Solution to International Travel Lowell Tota Lamp, multi Watt, international travel all purpose light kit. The Tota is diverse. Be careful! In Europe, etc. you will need a different bulb. Never touch the bulb with bare hands as skin oils cause problems.
