Not just for jazzercise, these three photo black Gitzo Leg Warmers technically do nothing to retain heat in the tripod legs. Rather, the warmers insulate your hands from the warmth-absorbing tripod tubing when shooting in cold climates.

Additionally, this closed-cell foam tripod accessory acts as a cushioned buffer when hoisting a camera and tripod on your shoulder for extended periods, all while protecting the tubes from impact and scratches.

Series 1 or 2 Tripod Leg Warmers (Photo Black, Set of 3) is rated 3.8 out of 5 by 4.
Rated 4 out of 5 by from Pricey, but nice I got these for my G1128 (which I've had for years) mostly to provide cushioning when I carry the tripod in the Gitzo GC3320 tripod belt carrier and ride my motorbike to location. They prevent the tripod's carbon legs from hitting the side of the bike and so avoid scratches. Otherwise in use, they do not affect the performance of the tripod at all. I can see if I had a longer-legged tripod that this kind of cushioning would probably make toting it over my shoulder with camera attached as I walked less uncomfortable as well. I would have given 5 stars but that for three pieces of leatherette vinyl with velcro they are sort of expensive.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Dyno Mite! When you need to shoulder the burden, even when your carbon fiber tripod is not so burdensome, Gitzo's knee-high stockings will soften the weight of Tripod/Ballhead/Camera/Lens. Dare to have the best-dressed Tripod!

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Lacks Padding Leg Warmers looks good. The fit is good and very secure. However, the leg warmers have no padding. The padding would make the tripod & spotting scope assembly, much more comfortable to shoulder on long walks.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Snug, easy to attach, expensive I applied these leg warmers as soon as I received them from B&H. I preferred the zip up type I had with my old Manfrotto tripod, but had to order this Velcro-type as I couldn't find them in B&H's extensive offerings. They do fit snugly and are very form-fitting. No slipping so far. They were quite useful as I did some cold-weather shooting very recently. I usually shoot without gloves so having the warmers on prevented my hands from becoming colder from contact with the bare tripod legs. The reason I preferred the zip up type over this Velcro type is a smooth profile. If you place the seam inward toward the center of the tripod, there is still a ridge you have to grasp. Maybe a guy's hands get a better grip but female hands are smaller and the ridge makes the wraps larger and less comfortable. The leg warmers are comfy on my shoulders. The combo of the warmers and tripod fit well in the specific case for the Gitzo tripod. They seem well-made with seam tape sewn all around the edges. The Velcro is very grippy and I had difficulty when I removed them to reposition them so the seam faced inward. No slipping up, down or around either.
