    Lowepro 75 AW reviews

Top Loader Pro 75 AW Camera Bag is rated 4.6 out of 5 by 182.
Rated 4 out of 5 by from Solid construction, but very snug Used for my EOS 40D, BG-E2n grip, and EF 70-200mm f/2.8 L IS II (with hood). The Top Loader Pro 75 feels very solid. Shoulder strap is comfortable, zippers seem very rugged, and material is thick. The bag provides very solid protection. The bag could be slightly bigger for my set-up, as things are very tight especially with the hood. When pulling out the camera and attached lens, the reversed hood would get stuck on the lip of top horizontal padding (which holds the camera body). I had to place the extra included padding vertically to cover the lip (which makes things even more snug). I do recommend the bag, but I would probably buy the original 75 bag over the Pro 75 (which also included two sliplock loops versus one on the Pro).

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Good Toploader I use this toploader for a Canon 5D3 and a 200 2.8 L lens. It will also fit this lens plus a 1.4 teleconverter. I also attach a 7x8 lowepro lens case attached to the side to hold the teleconverter when not in use. My 5D3 will also fit in this toplaoder with an L bracket attached. I don't use the velco shelf that comes with it attached to the inside. I usually walk the zoo for four or five hours and like to travel light. This toplaoder is very comfortable and all I need for the day. I know at this point this model is discontinued but I own a few lowepro toploaders and I like all of them. When you want to protect and carry your camera everywhere and don't want a bag or backpack these toploaders are great.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Good bag to fit gripped DSLR w70-200mm I bought this bag to use with the S&F Vest Harness (old version) and the deluxe S&F belt. It is big enough to fit a gripped DSLR with a 70-200mm which is what I will be using it with the most. I love the top and side pocket but don't think you will be able to hold a flash on the side pocket, it's too small for that, not to mention not padded enough for protection. I'm not too fond on the way it attaches to the S&F belt as you have to slip the belt into it from the back. I think that a system with dual Sliplock or something like that could have been better. At first I was attaching it with tie wraps to D-rings on the belts but it stresses the belt too much.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Lowepro Top loader Pro 75 AW This bag has everything I need and more. First the zippered lid hinges to the side, so when wearing it with a harness, the top is out of the way, giving great access to the camera. The lid also has a separate compartment with small Velcro pouches for memory cards which is very handy as well. Everything about the sturdy construction and heavy hardware is as expected with LowePro. I have several bags and none have ever disappointed. Also has a waterproof hood built in so your never caught off guard. The bag has additional net pouches and the side also has webbing, which works great for my Gitzo monopod. **see photo

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Good Field Outing Bag Often go out to photograph birds in several parks in the area. I usually only bring the camera with one lens out with me on the trails and wanted some protection for the camera when I wasn't using it. This bag is perfect for that. It's light weight, provides a good level of protection, with a nice sling like shoulder strap with the bag hanging on my right hip. I can easily remove the camera from the bag and store it back in the bag when I'm walking around. It's longer than I thought it would be but I can put my Nikon D610 with the 70-300 lens, with lens shade on, easily in the bag so I'm ready to go when needed.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great Bag for Short Shoots I use this bag a lot for just daily, short shoots where I don't need a lot of equipment. I also use it with the Street & Field Vest & belt when shooting weddings or other large events. In my daily use I either have a 70-200mm f/2.8L IS with the body on it, or two shorter lenses, one on the body and the other in the bottom of the bag. The side pouch easily carries a 380ex II flash and a folder LumiQuest Quick Bounce. There's a top pocket for my spare batteries and other small kit. I can even attach an additional pouch to the outside for carrying my Newton Flash Bracket. It's a great bag if you only need a few things!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great for traveling light I bought this item to carry my Canon 40D with a midrange zoom.It easily holds the camera,Sigma 17-70 and strap with room to spare. There are adjustable pads inside. The case is deep enough that I can tuck a small prime lens in the bottom underneath the lower pad.I also purchased the 2S lens case. With this mounted to the side I can carry my 55-250 IS. This is a nice travel combo when I don't want to haul all my stuff. There are lots of compartments to carry batteries,CF cards and micro fiber cloths.I can even fit in my Giottos Rocket Duster. It's a little expensive, but most quality items are these days.Construction and materials are top notch.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Exactly what I needed I bought this bag to use with my Canon 20D with 100-400mm lens attached. Fits perfectly in the bag after taking out the velcro dividers. I can also keep a monopod mount attached to the lens - tight fit but it works. Took the bag to Florida for a bird and wildlife shoot and it was really convenient. I was able to fit a wallet, Blackberry, cellphone, car keys, and CF cards in the other compartments, so this was a great all-day walk-around bag. The extra support strap takes a little getting used to, but it helps keep the bag from swaying as you walk. Highly recommend this if you want to keep a long lens attached.
