This is a very thin nylon-type material. I worried it wouldn't stay put but actually the spacing between the spokes is perfect and puts it under tension which holds it in place.

I bought an extra layer of diffusion to soften the light paired with my Profoto 7B kit. I generally use black office clips to secure the extra layer so it doesn't fall off when my assistant has the light on a Cstand arm or a monopod.

question
Will the Photek 60 fit the Westcott 60 umbrella without any issues? Thanks in advance for any input.
Asked by: LaDedric
the problem is softlighter has Velcro to stick diffusion together, any other product wants to use it will need to find a way to prevent it from falling from the umbrella.

question
I asked a question - here it is again. Can this be used with any 46 umbrella, or does it have special connectors?
Asked by: Michael
I think this is for the Photek Softliter only as the poles on the umbrellas would have to line up correctly with the holes in the diffusion cover. Photek Softliter II ISO favorite lighting modifier. Used close to your subject, it gives incredibly soft window light quality lighting.
