US NightVision L-3 EOTech 557.AR223 Holographic Sight

The L-3 EOTech 557 is a holographic sighting solution that provides rapid sight acquisition with a heads-up-and-both-eyes-open sighting technique.

When used in conjunction with an NVD, the 557's night vision setting allows the operator to immediately drop the brightness intensity of the holographic reticle to eliminate any "halo" or saturation-effect. The 557 can also be used in conjunction with a 3x magnifier to ensure accurate long-range shot placement. The control buttons have been relocated to the side for rapid access in every conceivable configuration - when mounted to a firearm with a properly configured mounting platform - the 557 can handle any scenario.

The 557 is designed for survive and thrive under actual battlefield conditions; it's submersible to a depth of 66', and the quick detach system is repeatable to 1 MOA after remounting. The rear window is a 3/16" thick shatterproof laminate with anti-glare and scratch resistant coatings, and the front lens is 1/8" solid glass. Additionally, holographic technology leaves no muzzle-side optical signature. The housing is machined from aluminum, crafted with a sleek low-profile footprint, and finished with a hard-anodized protective coating.
