Wohler VMQ-2D - AES 4 Channel Audio Monitor, Volume Control, Speakers

The VMQ-2D from Wohler is a professional-quality device that enables you to monitor four separate AES audio channels. It's a powerful tool for monitoring incoming feeds in television news and talk radio, machine room VTRs and edit bays, and in commercial and industrial security and teleconferencing systems. In a single rack space, the VMQ-2D enables you to monitor four AES signals, from two AES/EBU inputs (that provide two sub-channels each). Every channel has a dedicated power amplifier and speaker, which keeps the audio signals completely separate from input to output. A volume control and mute button are featured on each of the four channels. When a signal is present in a channel, a dedicated LED light will let the operator know. When a channel is muted, another dedicated LED light illuminates.

A headphone jack on the front panel sums inputs one and two on the left, and three and four on the right. The VMQ-2D has been designed with professional production in mind, and it's fully magnetically shielded for use in close proximity to video monitors.
