Work very well. Love the 90 degree design of it makes it more secure. I use it with my Pocket Wizard and Profoto B1 head to fire the flash. The connection is absolutely secure and work well.

is this a 25mm jack that will fit a 70d shutter release jack
No that is not the correct cord for the Nikon 70D.The Canon 70D uses a 2.5 connection and the Impact Sync Cord Male Mini to Male Mini (3') is 3.5The other end of the cord depending on the remote shutter might be different and not 2.5 or 3.5. So you need to confirm the jack size.
