The Channel G Compact from McDSP is based on the larger Channel G plug-in, and while it maintains its level of sonic excellence, the Channel G Compact uses a smaller DSP footprint. Rather than the 3 separate plug-ins that comprise Channel G, the Channel G Compact functions as a single plug-in and delivers a fully featured console style compressor/limiter, 4-band EQ, a versatile filter set and analog saturation modeling.
The Channel G Compact user interface seamlessly integrates with the Digidesign D-Control and D-Command control surfaces, as well as the Venue D-Show and Profile live sound consoles. It is available in the TDM, RTAS and AudioSuite formats and is compatible with HD, Native and M-Audio Pro Tools systems.
