The Chrosziel's 411-50-HPX300K3F mattebox system brings professional shading and filtering solutions to Panasonic's HPX-300. Loaded with the benefits operators have come to expect from Alfred Chrosziel, features include a true 16:9 housing that covers both 16:9 and 4:3, filterstage for 2 filterholders (one 4x4 rotating and one 4x4/4x5.650 fixed), a full-size French Flag, and adapter ring. For a secure mount, the system comes with a center bracket and lightweight support with adjustable mattebox rods. This system features a follow focus system for Fujinon video lenses.
French Flag
The system's articulating French Flag is great for precise manipulation of light. Protection against flair and loss of contrast is provided by a 16:9 insert mask. A one-sided quick-lock mechanism anchors both sides of the system with a simple twist of a knob.
Matte Box
Includes a housing that covers both 16:9 and 4:3, one rotating 4x4 & one fixed 4x4/4x5.65 filterholder, a French Flag, mounting blocks, and a 16:9 mask.
Lightweight System
The lightweight support system provides support for the Panasonic HPX-300 mattebox.
Follow Focus System
Chrosziel's DV Studio Rig Follow-Focus system is supported by the lightweight support system. The focus gear drive locks into the follow focus and the focus gear ring is attached to the Canon lens focus ring and interfaces with the focus gear drive. This allows film style follow focus during moving camera and moving subject shooting; utilizing an extra production person to run focus while the operator moves the camera.
