will this work with the Sennheiser G3 mic receiver?
Asked by: R.C.
No. The cable you need is the Sennheiser CL-100 1/8"-Male Mini Jack to XLR-Male Connector Cable for Sennheiser EK100 Receiver (B&H # SECL100) which has the correct locking connector on the end that goes to the receiver. We also offer lower-priced options with the Kopul Deluxe Wireless Receiver Output Cable - 18" (B&H # KOROCLM2) and the Senal Right-Angle Locking 1/8" Mini to 3-Pin XLR Output Cable - 15" (B&H # SEAWSCBLXLR) which has an angled mini-jack.

Is the xlr connector balanced or unbalanced? Will this work with Sennheiser ew100 series receivers?
Asked by: Nathan
This Comprehensive cable is not going to work as an output cable for a Sennheiser ek100 camera-mountable receiver. The 3.5mm end needs to be a locking 3.5mm TRS connector and the XLR connector would need to be male. The Sennheiser CL100 cable (B&H# CL100) is the same cable that is included with the ek100 receiver and in ew 100 series wireless microphone systems that include the camera0mountable receiver. This cable is unbalanced. The Sennheiser CL500 cable (B&H# SECL500) is the same balanced receiver output cable that is included with the ek500 receiver and with ew 512P and ew 500 FILM wireless mic systems.

question

Does this pull one channel, or take both? I believe you need an extra resistor in there to take both channels. Thanks!
Asked by: Patrick G.
Most adaptors of this sort will take two channels from the 3.5 stereo end and mono it out (combine to 1 channel) into the Xlr end.
