Rated 4 out of 5 by from shooting with canon 5D with battery pack I shoot with the Canon 5D and use the battery pack as well. I often use the focus and shutter buttons on the battery pack and this is one of the few brackates I found that claimed to work on the right side of the camera with the battery pack. there is room for your hand to grab the grip in the horizontal position, but I have small hands. I had to screw the braket onto the camera with a slight angle toward the lens so my wrist wouldn't push so hard on it. Overall, it works great. After a full day of shooting a wedding I had a couple day bruise on the wrist. No other complaints yet! Only shot with it twice so far though. Wedding and grad pics.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Right Hand Up Shooter I've only had the T-Bracket for a couple of weeks but I can already tell this is just what I was looking for. I'm a right hand up shooter and used my previous bracket backwards to accommodate this. It made it very difficult to make adjustment and turn my dial. This bracket is well made. I love the fact that it folds and it wraps around my camera strap buckle on the bottom of my battery grip. Only small nit pick is that the flash is actually an inch or so behind the normal plane and comes close to my forehead. I think I will get used to that in time. Shooting my first wedding with it in a week. Can't wait to not have to fight my bracket.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from nice but needs... i use the product for an off camera flash 580 ex2. i like the comfort, feel, and sturdy feel of it. i don't like how you can not lock it into place the upper ninety-degree part of it.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Worked well I bought this to use when taking my portable strobes in not an option. I needed it for an outdoor wedding ceremony and reception candids. It work quite well. It was pretty comfortable on my 7D with battery grip and raised the flash enough to remove the shadows and red eye. It flipped easily when needed. The only issue was when I was carrying the camera between shots, if it was in the portrait position it would swing the flash down as there is no lock for the flip portion. Build quality is high and the aluminum feels good in your hand. It folds up nicely. I had the flash mount rotate on my twice and the camera mount rotated once over a 10 hour session. As mentioned by other, some rubber inbetween would help but it didn't bother me. The price makes it a great value. I will be buying a second one for my second camera for my next wedding.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Exactly what I was looking for I am using this with a Nikon D300 with MB-D10 grip and a Nikon SB-910 flash. I mount the flash bracket on the right side so that I can flip it so the flash is above the camera in a normal portrait orientation (right side of camera and shutter release on top). This works very well and is extremely intuitive -- within a few minutes you will naturally flip the bracket and rotate the camera in one swift motion. The bracket does have some movement to it, but it's extremely sturdy and has proven to be durable. I think the construction and quality of materials is very solid and professional -- I have confidence it will last a long time. This is the tall (T) model that elevates the flash above a pro or gripped body and it does that very well. It's still easy to bounce the flash and works well for large open areas where the ceiling is higher or non-existent (in which case you'd bounce off a wall or diffuse and go direct). I also use a Gary Fong Lightsphere and it works well together. Of course in a smaller space you could probably do without the bracket. The folding option is fantastic and allows it to tuck nicely into my camera bag. I have a RRS L-Plate installed on my MB-D10 and the CB bracket with anti-twist plate mount perfectly to the bottom of the RRS L-Plate. I have no problems holding the camera just as I would normally for portrait or landscape shots -- basically just ignore the bracket and hold the camera like you normally would. The foam grip is basically padding for the back of your right hand as you hold the camera. It's a very effective bracket. All-in-all money well spent with no regrets.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Simple and Good Simple flip bracket, but excellent construction and ease of use, plus it folds compactly.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from a must have if you use an external flash I use this bracket to mount the Canon Speedlite 580EX II for taking portraits. It is a great hardware to have to reduce shadows and red-eye in photos. It is very compact, when folded it does not take much space in my camera bag. It is a very sold bracket. The handle is very comfortable. It would be nice if the arm can be locked at vertical position, and if would be nice if the base allows camera mounting have 1/2 inches movement (to left or right). This will allow people have smaller or larger hands to reach the shutter easier.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Fast, effective and a breeze to use My first (and maybe last) flash bracket. Compact, well-engineered. Used it for the first time at a friend's wedding a few days ago. I was a bit concerned about the landscape-to-portrait flip but it was fast, stable and easy to use. I noticed that one reviewer had suggested buying the anti-twist plate - which I did. However, it doesn't fit on my Nikon D700 so I went without. I found that the combination of the non-slip material on the camera base and that on the bracket resulted in a completely stable system throughout the wedding.
