The chrome Heil Sound Heritage is a cardioid dynamic microphone offering high-fidelity electronics in a vintage-style housing for vocalists, musicians, and audio engineers in homes, studios, clubs, and concert venues. Its large-diaphragm dynamic voice coil easily handles loud sources and produces a frequency response of 50 Hz to 18 kHz with a midrange boost at 4 kHz to increase vocal clarity and instrument brightness. The cardioid polar pattern yields significant off-axis rejection, which reduces pickup of room ambience and stage bleed.
The capsule is mounted in a rubber shock-isolation system to impede handling noise and vibrations transferred through the stand. Plosives and wind noise are attenuated via the internal foam windscreen. A lockable on/off switch allows onstage muting between bands or sets. The balanced XLR 3-pin output ensures compatibility with a variety of microphone preamps, mixer inputs, portable PA systems, and audio interfaces. Durable steel construction delivers stage-ready reliability. The Heritage features an integrated stand mount for simple attachment to a mic stand (available separately).Vintage-style appearance is well suited to on-camera use
