Rated 5 out of 5 by from Back saver. I absolutely love this remarkable device. Don't give credence to the negative reviews. I couldn't wait to use this device. I shoot a lot of Classic Car Shows and needed this to capture a low angle of the front end of cars. Previously, I had to lay on my back and angle the camera up to get the shots I needed. This device allows me to just bend over. The first time I used this, I was blown away. Yes,,,,,,, it takes some getting use to but, only an absolute moron would fail at this. If you're considering buying this, do yourself a favor.......Don't read anymore reviews and place your order. BUY 2.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Nice idea... not great I just bought a new Nikon camera. It is an amazing camera. The only thing I miss, that I had on my last Sony camera, is a pull-out viewfinder. I photograph kids in action and I am constantly on the ground or up on chair -- taking photos from all angles. So, that pull-out viewfinder came in handy. This angle viewfinder just doesn't help. It is simply a mirror, so the image is in reverse and takes a few seconds to get the right angle on the mirror to see anything at all. I finally just took it off the camera.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from It works... it's a mirror after all, and one can't expect anything more from it. It takes some getting used to, but I think it's an acceptable alternative to an articulated display, or certainly to going out and buying a new camera just for that. It can be hard to make things out, but you learn to make it work after a while. To me, it's most useful for getting the camera closer to the ground. With overhead shots, you can usually see the display without it. It would be nice if they made one for the 3.2 displays, but one can make the 3 model work with some cutting and grinding of the frame. The only problem I've had with one of these is that the mirror got loose, and i had to hold it in place with one finger while trying to do everything else at the same time. It's not that big of a deal.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Some good, some not so good The best part about the Flipbac viewfinder is that it protects the camera's screen. Using the Flipbac as intended, with its mirror image, is very difficult--I usually end up just going with the camera's view finder and treating the Flipbac as a screen protector. It beats the film protectors I've tried in the past.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from doesn't work with Coolpix P500 This doesn't work with Coolpix P500 as it covers part of the 3 screen

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Not what was expected I was excited about having a angle viewfinder so that I could take pictures low to the ground without having to be on the ground. Unfortunately it did not open to the bottom of the viewfinder just the side. It was also slightly smaller than my screen so it would have stuck to the LCD. I returned the product. It would have been a great buy if it had worked with what I needed it to do.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Flipbac angle viewfinder I try most of the gadgets and find most of them not worth bothering with. This one is the exception. It works great and is a must for a camera with live view, for low angle shots so an old man doesn't have to get down on his knees. I use it with a Nikon D700.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from A useful accessory I use it with my Canon S100. Lets you take right angle and low-angle photos easily. Making over the head shots(like shooting over a crowd) is difficult because the mirror doesn't stay in place, but some transparent tape from the local stationary stores solves the problem. I use transparent tape to mount this device to may camera because I don't use 100% because it makes my camera too to fit into it's case. I remove it when I don't need it.
