Galleries, museums, photographers, artists, archivists, and decorators will appreciate this 25 pack of 11 x 14" 2-Ply Pearl White Conservation Mat Boards from Archival Methods. Each board is made of alpha-cellulose pulp from purified wood fiber. An economical alternative to cotton pulp boards, Conservation boards share similar surface and cutting characteristics. Purified wood fiber is recognized as being safe to use with paper artwork, photographs, and documents. For archival use, the boards are acid- and lignin-free with alkaline or neutral sizing. In addition the boards are buffered with calcium carbonate for added protection and longer life and made without optical brightening agents. The pearl white color is characterized by a warmer tonality than bright white museum board and is less yellow than antique white.

11 x 14 mat boards
Received quickly and have already used them all.
Good product but poor packaging
Tough to rate this one. The boards themselves are excellent, perfect size and consistent in size. Unfortunately, the package of 25 only came with 23 boards. I really needed 25, but luckily my neighbor had a couple of larger ones we cut down. Would I purchase them again? Probably not. I'm sure my package was a fluke, but ordering on line makes it tough to go back to the store for two more boards, and I don't expect B&H to send me two boards - that just does not make sense. I'll purchase these locally next time.
Perfect, can't buy enough of it... Affordable and great presentation quality.
exactly what I needed
I needed these mats to prevent some 11x14 prints in a clear bag from bending. They do the trick, and they are very sturdy.
These mounting boards were perfect for my school projects.
I've started to do non-virtual portfolio's again and I like to use a thin board for presentation, even in the folio sleeve. This is a good product. You are probably wondering why use an archival board? I use to use cheaper boards previously and found that they discolored after a few years. I've not had this problem with the Conservation Mat.
Just what I needed to give my photos that POP
Purchased to mount photos I have taken for a future project, they gave my black and whites the POP it needed.
just as described
great for backing-board but be sure to get 4-ply for window cuts
