The D-Link DCS-3110 Fixed Network Camera is a multi-functional camera which gives high-resolution viewing and consistent recording for professional surveillance and security applications. Its Power over Ethernet (PoE) support enables you to install the camera in areas without a power outlet.
With the 1/4-inch 1.3 Megapixel Progressive Scan CMOS sensor and 6mm lens, the DCS-3110 Network Camera provides high quality images at a maximum resolution of 1280 x 1024. Additionally, the simultaneous streaming of MPEG-4 and MJPEG video offers high quality and bandwidth efficient compression formats.
Images
The Network Camera has a 1/4-inch 1.3 Megapixel Progressive Scan CMOS sensor and a 6mm lens, capturing wider field of view with a maximum resolution at 1280 x 1024 and covers up to 30fps at 640 x 480, 320 x 240, and 176 x 144. With the built-in Infrared-cut Removable (ICR) filter, the Fixed Network Camera provides an automatic day/night functionality by gradually shifting the image view from 'color' to 'black & white' when it darkens. The camera can capture clear images at a minimum illumination of 1.5 Lux at F2.0.
The D-Link D-ViewCam 2.0 software in the camera enables you to manage up to 32 network cameras. You can also set e-mail alert notifications and recording schedules as well as trigger motion detection to record directly to your hard drive.
Multiple Streaming
The simultaneous streaming of MPEG-4 and MJPEG video offers high quality and bandwidth efficient compression formats. MJPEG offers file integrity, making the camera ideal for detailed monitoring. MPEG-4 has smaller file sizes, making the unit useful for longer recording periods or for use in low bandwidth networks. It supports multicast MPEG-4 streaming which allows you to view content by subscribing to a multicast IP address on the network.
Flexible Connectivity
A digital input port and an output port allows connectivity to external devices such as alarm relays, IR sensors, and switches. Its RS-485 interface provides connectivity to an optional Pan/Tilt enclosure and 12V interface provides power for an optional LED illuminator.
The built-in microphone and audio ports when connected to an external speaker allows for two-way audio communication. The built-in Samba client for NAS helps in capturing and transferring of images without connecting to a PC or any other hardware or software.
Mobile Surveillance
The 3GPP Mobile Surveillance support allows you to monitor and to view the camera's live video feed from a compatible Internet-ready mobile phone with a 3GPP player installed.
Power Supply
Power is supplied to the network camera through 802.3af Power over Ethernet (PoE) which facilitates transfer of power and data over a single Ethernet cable. Hence, you can install the camera in areas without a power outlet.
