Can the Sony CCU power a sony camera with this cable over this distance? Is there any power booster needed or will the needed DC voltage go that far?

If you are using the HXC-FB80 and the HXCU-FB80 then Yes, the maximum distance under good conditions is 600m using the SONY CCFN cable, you can do the same with SMPTE cabling.
