This is an Interfit INT482 Monstar One Light Fluorescent Kit. At the heart is the Monstar fixture with 3- 150 watt compact fluorescent lamps. It is a cool-running fixture that puts out the equivalent of 1800 tungsten watts, without the heat.
More DetailsThe Monstar has two dimming switches, providing power without color shift to all, 2, or 1 of the fluorescent bulbs.
As if this fixture didn't put out light that's soft enough, the kit comes with a 43" (109cm) Octobox softbox for even more softening of the output. For support is a light stand that rises to a maximum height of 8.5' (2.65 m). For storage and transport, a carry case is also included.

Warning: Lighting newbie here. I'm wanting an inexpensive octobox capable of taking full length portraits. Would this cast more or less light than an Impact Octacool 9? Is the front diffuser on this box removable? Is there an interior baffle? Thanks

Is this light compatible with Ortery software?
Being that the Ortery TruView 360 Composition Software relies on the use of an Ortery or third party turntable to properly capture the images, the Interfit INT482 can work as a powerful source for lighting various products outside of using one of Orterys light boxes.

Is it possible to mount up larger octabox accessories to this unit? I know Interfit and other companies have larger octabox accessories however I am unsure if they are compatible.
Two softboxes that would work with the larger Interfit INT482 Monstar One Light setup would be either the Photoflex OctoDome3 Softbox, Medium - 5', B&H # PHOD5Q, or the Photoflex OctoDome3 Softbox, Large - 7' (2.1 m) Diameter, B&H # PHOD7Q.
