The EverFocus Half-size DVR (8 Channels, 1TB, 120 fps) measures just 11.7 x 8.3 x 3.5" and offers hot swap functionality. The USB 2.0 port makes for quick and easy transfer of data. MPEG-4 compression allows for seamless transmission of video even over limited bandwidth networks. Multiplex operation allows simultaneous live video viewing, recording, playback, archiving, and remote viewing.
The DVR offers a recording speed of up to 120 fps, and provides multiple recording modes - continuous, time-lapse, schedule, and event recording (motion & alarm). A straightforward on-screen setup menu with multi-language support makes installation easy. The DVR has an on-screen system timer; a built-in watchdog timer and self diagnostic technology ensure system auto recovery after power failure through reset or other corrective action.
Multi-level protection offers added security, and the free DDNS service provides a domain name from the DDNS service provider and assigns it to the DVR.
The DVR has a 10/100 based-T network interface, and offers real-time live displays for all cameras. The user-friendly control panel has a common VCR and multiplexer jog/shuttle feature.
A log is maintained for events such as video loss, motion detection, alarm input/reset, and power on/off. System alerts are sent in case of a fan fault, the HDD temperature exceeding a certain level, no HDD being detected, or the HDD being full. The DVR runs on the reliable Linux operating system, and can be controlled with an IR remote controller.
The DVR provides 8 loop-through camera inputs and up to 9 multiscreen displays for monitoring and playback. It has 1 set of stereo audio inputs and outputs.
