The EverFocus Digital Video Recorder (16 Channels, 2TB) and 19" Monitor is a Combo Pack, the DVR having a stable Linux OS and offering multiplex operations (live, record, playback, archive, & remote viewing) and enhanced recording speed (480 fps). The DVR supports the MPEG-4 file compression format that ensures seamless transmission of good quality video over a network. The DVR supports 16 channels of video input with a multi-screen display.
User-friendly on-screen menu with multi-language support make the DVR easy to use. PTZ cameras connected to the DVR can be controlled with the front panel keypad, shuttle/jog wheel, EKB500 keyboard, mouse, and remote control. The self-diagnostics and watchdog function enable the system to recover automatically after a power failure and the warning system generates an alert in case of a fan fault, high HDD temperature, no HDD detected, or a full HDD.
The DVR supports up to 2 hot swappable 3.5" SATA hard disks with a SCSI port for additional external storage and records real-time with a programmable motion detection area (30 x 24) for each channel. As a security measure, the DVR comes with an event log system to keep track of any video loss, alarm input/reset, motion detection, and power on/off and can also mask the required positions for privacy. For exported still images, the DVR provides a watermark and a time/date stamp to prevent tampering.

All exported images have a watermark to prevent the footage from being tampered with. In case of a power failure, the watchdog function and self-diagnostic technology help the DVR in auto recovery.
