KSB-1250F 3-Light Fluorescent Economy SoftBox Kit with Mini-Boom (120 VAC) is rated 3.4 out of 5 by 12.
Rated 4 out of 5 by from Great kit for the money I will be using this product on a film set and in a mobile application often. The first shoot I did with this kit was great and went over easily. The control with the speed rings and the angles available make this kit easy to setup. As always with almost any kit the stands leave much to be desired - especially the boom stand. I'd recommend putting a honeycomb on the front of the soft-boxes for control of spill. Overall I feel the kit is not extremely durable and will probably only last me a couple of years at best but it does the job I need. For the price this kit is spot on and will give you instantly professional results if used properly.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Good For What It Is I use this light kit in my businesses green screen room. I dont use it for lighting the green screen itself, but rather for lighting the person in front of the green screen using a standard 3 point lighting scheme. The kit is a bit tiem consuming to put together, but not all that complicated to learn. I would suggest being careful when building your soft box as the rods are somewhat easy to bend, although I've yet to actually bend one. The larger 2 soft boxes flood the room rather well so I would suggest buying a pair of honeycombs for them for a bit more control. All in all however this is a decent kit for the price, but I wouldnt't neccessarily buy it for portable applications.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from It is what it is The lights aren't as bright as I thought they would be, but nicely lit the products we were shooting. Also, the boom definitely needs to be weighted with something. Also, we've set this up twice, and the rods are already starting to get bent. Ideally we'd leave this kit set up, but it's not an option at the moment, so we'll probably need to be replacing it soon, and I don't think I'd purchase this again.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Very difficult to put together I thought I'd get this for my students to use in my journalism classes and for the broadcasting instructor in hers. I liked the rolling box that came with it, and that it seemed like it would be easily taken to wherever we would need it. (I've brought my own personal light kit to school.) On the first day I found out that it's not easily portable. It's the devil to put the light boxes together, so forget about portability. This will need to stay in one place. That's why the two-star rating.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Great Light I use this for a web series, and it's great for providing even key, fill, and shoulder light. It's a bit difficult to assemble, but I'm not breaking it down all the time, so if you're putting it together, and not breaking it down daily it should't be an issue. If you're breaking it down every day, consider something else.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Nice light kit for green screen hobbist I've just gotten started with using this with my 10ft by 12ft green screen. The softboxes seem to put out a nice even light. The kit was a little difficult to figure out how to put together, but after getting the first light set up the other two were easy to get working.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Excellent value I used the light kit in my portable video production facility. The craftsmanship and performance of the light kit makes set up a breeze and produces outstanding results.
