The camera allows you to monitor distant objects in sharp detail. It is suitable for locations that demand high security - such as railway stations, airports, and prisons, as well as at manufacturing units, warehouses, shipping centers and school campuses.
The 232D+ Network Camera provides simultaneous Motion JPEG and MPEG-4 file formats. Motion JPEG offers up to 30/25 frames per second in all resolutions whereas MPEG-4 offers the same number of frames per second at 2CIF/CIF/QCIF resolutions. This ensures optimization of bandwidth efficiency and image quality.
The 128x Wide Dynamic Range (WDR) feature enables the network camera to produce high-quality video even in low light conditions. You can capture color video even in light conditions as low as 0.3 lux at 30IRE. The camera has an automatic or manually removable IR-cut filter, to enable it to capture black-and-white video even in low lighting conditions of 0.005 lux at 30IRE. The camera also allows you to adjust the image settings with respect to various parameters - brightness, sharpness, white balance, compression, exposure control text, and image overlay.
The camera provides a continuous 360º pan operation. Providing fast and high precision PTZ control, the unit allows you to adjust pan, tilt and zoom functions with the use of a mouse or a joystick. Therefore, tracking objects of interest becomes very simple. It also supports 50 preset positions and guard tour. The day/night camera can be operated in between 41 and 122°F (5 and 50°C).
The 232D+ has multi-level password protection, IP address filtering, HTTPS encryption, and IEEE 802.1X network access control to maintain network security.
