I used this product to mount a Kodak Zi8 to a glass surface during a wedding. It was inconspicuous and held up for the whole event, I'm sure it would've stayed much longer. It would've been nice if it had a swivel that way I could have mounted it on an even higher glass surface and got a crazy pov! Can't complain though. It did what it was supposed to.

Can you remove the 1/4 20 threads on this cup? I need something that I can mount my own bolt.
Unfortunately, the 1/4-20 thread on this cup cannot be removed. However, we do offer the Matthews 10 Vacuum Cup with Cheese Plate B&H # MAVC10CP which offers multiple mounting holes for your application. Please see the image below.
