The PJD6240 makes beautiful, vivid 720p and 1080i high definition images thanks to its Texas Instruments DLP DMD (Digital Light Processor Digital Micromirror Device) imaging panel (that's the part that creates the image). It has an innovation TI calls BrilliantColor. Besides presenting crisp, vivid images, a marked advantage of DLP DMD devices is that they don't require filters that have to be periodically cleaned and replaced. That saves you time, money and in a permanent installation, possibly skinned knuckles.
The PJD6240 has the international credentials you've come to expect in more expensive projectors. It's got a world-ready 100 to 240 volt 50/60 Hz power supply. It can handle NTSC, NTSC 4.43, PAL, B, D, G, H, I, M, N, 60 and SECAM video signals. It has an 11 language onscreen display (OSD) and can display closed captioning from sources that provide CC.
There's a built-in RJ-45 (Ethernet) jack so your PJD6240 is network ready. You can monitor and manage a whole fleet of them from a single PC over your LAN. You can even have them email you when certain faults are discovered and thank to the PJD6240's built-in clock you can even schedule commands to take place when the controlling PC is off.
