American Dynamics ADC660P 1/3" B/W CCD Camera (PAL)
Key Features
- Interline Transfer 1/3" CCD Array
- F 1.2 Lens Aperture
- 580 Horizontal TV Lines of Resolution
- Automatic Gain Control
The 1/3" interline black & white CCD on the American Dynamics ADC660P renders clearer images than any other surveillance cameras in the class. Besides the clarity, the interline wafer structure lets your camera capture an image faster - as a result you see the event on the monitor without losing out on those critical moments. The 2:1 interlace scanning and 580 TV lines of resolution ensure the reproduction of the minutest possible detail. See crystal clear images captured on an effective pixel resolution of 768(H) X 494(V), without a squint.
Just as during day, the camera performs equally well in the night. This day/night camera boasts a light sensitivity of 0.03 lux to capture any activity even under poorly lit conditions. Besides, the camera is sensitive to infrared illumination as well; this effectively makes the camera a product of choice for covert surveillance. More to that - if you need to increase the sensitivity of the camera further, just switch on its Automatic Gain Control and add a boost to monitor a low lit zone.
The camera comes with backlight compensation (BLC) for perfect imagery of subjects with bright background. With this feature active you can definitely see your subject without compromising the brightness. This is further fine tuned with the Auto Iris (AI) lens of this camera. Along with the BLC simply activate the AI and leave the shutter speed to 1/60 sec, this constantly goes on to adjust the inflow of the light through the lens. The BLC and AI together ensure you get to see any subject with equal ease irrespective of the lighting condition they are within.
The ADC660P camera can operate independently. You need not have to be present at the monitoring station to adjust the position of the camera. The independent mode of the camera employs its crystal controlled sync generator to work entirely on its own with the other cameras of your entire surveillance system. Alternatively, you may also deploy its line locking feature to sync the vertical, horizontal, even/odd fields, gray burst frequency, and phase with the other cameras to get the images with similar gain, color, and lighting from different angles.
