LWA07X77 0.7x Wide Angle Adapter is rated 4.4 out of 5 by 5.
Rated 5 out of 5 by from PERFECT WA ADAPTER! I use this on my PMW-EX1. It screws onto the 77mm threads just like a lens filter. Its well made and snug on the Fujinon. It is smaller and lighter than I imagined (this is a good thing!) so it doesn't add much weight to the front of the camera. You must set the EX1 lens to Macro and AF and then it focuses perfectly, however you can't zoom in too much, but why would you if you are using a Wide Angle adapter? The amazing thing is that it also works excellently with my EF 24-70mm f/2.8L lens on my Canon 5DmkII and it focuses through the entire range of the lens! This adapter is amazing and especially for the price - NO VJGNETTING! Can't say enough about it - great deal, Great Job Cavision!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from truly great value Although I purchased this wide angle adapter for my Sony PMW EX1, it also works on my Canon 5D mark II on my 24-70mm f/2.8L lens. On the EX1 you have to set the lens to MACRO and AF, and then it works very well, and on the 25-70mm f/2.8L lens, it works through the entire range of the zoom! So overall it's simply a remarkable value in my opinion.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Wide angle challenge I bought this to use on my Nikon 24-70, was warned the camera might not focus, which was correct. I can't get it to be fully focused, but I think I will get some interesting scenic shots with it. It is a very intriguing lens. It is made for video but I am more interested in it as a still lens.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from I like it! I nearly gave this auxiliary lens a '4' instead of a '5' for several reasons. One is that it took forever to get here. Apparently it was on backorder but, unless I'm mistaken, no one told me that. Two is that, unfortunately, it does, *slightly*, distort (the photographs are not as sharp as I would like). The 'fisheye' effect, however, I can correct with ACR. The positive: it does add a serious wide angle to the photos I take with my Nikon 28-300 (which has a 77mm thread). I love my 28-300 but there are times (shooting interiors, for instance) it is just not wide enough. The LWA07X77 solves that problem. I discovered that I could clear up the 'fuzziness' quite well using Adobe Camera Raw - ACR - so I will definitely be using it for that purpose. The reason I prefer this auxiliary screw-on is that the Nikon WA lenses are very expensive and I don't shoot architecture often. I also prefer to leave my 28-300 on the camera whenever possible so as to avoid any dust getting on the sensor. This auxiliary lens is perfect for my purposes. It is very well made and comes in a wonderful case. A minor annoyance is that neither the supplied front nor rear lens caps fit tightly, so I'm in the process of hunting for some which do. I'm very happy to have it, though and would certainly recommend it to anyone else looking for a wide-angle. Note: it's a special order which means that it is not returnable, so it's definitely a risk to order knowing that.
